For the first time in 20 years, AAA Wisconsin isn’t putting together projections for how many people will travel over the Memorial Day weekend.
Spokesman Nick Jarmusz believes economic uncertainty and the pandemic will keep more people home. He expects the numbers would be significantly below the current record, set in 2009.
Jarmusz hopes travel will pick up again, so they can run forecasts for the Fourth of July and Labor Day holidays.
