Appleton’s health department is reporting eight new confirmed COVID-19 cases.
That’s the most in a single day in the city.
Five of the people had contact with a known case, and three caught it through community spread.
There have now been 79 confirmed cases in the city. Forty-six people are in isolation, and 30 have recovered.
