Special Olympics athletes will have to compete on their own this summer.
The annual games in Stevens Point next month will be virtual.
Special Olympics Wisconsin spokesman Tommy Jaime says they can participate in 11 events, and send in their results online. He says they’ll also have a virtual celebration ceremony on June 4th.
The organization will hold a virtual torch run, as well, to raise money.
