Governor Evers won’t try to create any more statewide COVID-19 guidelines.
He says Majority Republicans in the Legislature are clear on their position, that they don’t want any state rules. Because they control the rule-making process, Evers says it’s not worth his administration’s time.
The Supreme Court blocked the governor’s extension of the “safer at home” order, and ruled he had to work with lawmakers to set any policies.
