Local governments are starting to feel the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Oshkosh City Manager Mark Rohloff says their finances have taken a big hit. He anticipates a revenue shortfall of $1.1 million, based on COVID-19 alone. He says the city has spent just over $300,000 on the response, so far.
Oshkosh may have to use a 2019 budget surplus of $1.7 million to help balance this year’s budget.
