“Wisconsin’s Event City” still hopes to live up to that nickname this summer.
The Oshkosh Common Council is taking up special event permits for festivals, sports tournaments, and fishing events.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says state rules on public gatherings will still be enforced. He says organizers need to start working now, and they can make adjustments later on, depending on what’s going on at the time.
Among the special event permits going before the Oshkosh Common Council tonight are for the Saturday Farmers Market, and Lifest’s new August dates.
