Bars around the state are supposed to be closed, but there were complaints over the weekend of some being open in the Shawano area.
Shawano Tavern League President Linda Vangheem says she hasn’t talked with any bar owners that chose to defy the state’s rules. She says the bar she owns is still closed.
County Sheriff Adam Bieber wrote a letter to Governor Evers, saying he takes the coronavirus seriously. But Bieber said he won’t enforce rules or laws that infringe on constitutional rights.
