There’s been a big wave of people handcrafting face masks for different organizations or facilities. We’re learning about where those masks are being used in ThedaCare facilities from Denise Gloede, ThedaCare Vice President of Post-Acute Care and Jean Blaney McGinnis, Community Health Improvement Volunteer Program Specialist. Those who are sewing masks are encouraged to join the ThedaCare Mask Makers group to share ideas and information about handmade fabric masks. Or for more information, people can contact jean.blaneymcginnis@thedacare.org.
Also lending a hand, is Cre8Labs, a Neenah business that’s been using their 3D printers to make ear savers for those wearing masks. Eric Brehm and Adam Waite join us to share more about what they’re making and the impact it’s having for those on the front lines.
Go Valley Kids is a great resource for parents and families looking to find activities in the community. During the coronavirus pandemic, they haven’t skipped a beat, providing helpful links to events, curbside pickups and lunches in area school districts. Amanda Chavez joins us with more information on Mother’s Day ideas!
