The state wants to test every person at nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout Wisconsin.
Governor Evers says there are nearly 375 of them. He says they plan to test 10,000 people a week during the month of May. He adds the state won’t charge for the tests.
Evers believes the wide-scale screening of nursing homes is important, in order to scale back social distancing rules.
