Neenah High School is the latest to decide to hold a virtual graduation ceremony.
District spokesman Jim Strick says students can schedule a time to pick up their caps and gowns on Wednesday and Thursday of next week. He says they’ll get their picture taken while wearing them. Those pictures will be shown when each student’s name is announced, during the ceremony.
Strick says they considered postponing the ceremony to hold an in-person one, but there are too many unknowns. He believes the virtual graduation will still be a very memorable and special experience for students.
The ceremony will be on YouTube on May 27th. That’s the same date in-person graduation was scheduled to take place.
