A number of state parks and forests will reopen to visitors on Friday, with some different rules.
Governor Evers will lift the shutdown for 34 parks and forests, including High Cliff State Park.
There will be limits on the number of people allowed at one time. DNR Director Mark Aquino says once they’re met, visitors will have to remain outside the gates, until someone else leaves.
People will need to pay the regular admission fees or have a state pass.
Evers closed parks last month, because crowds were gathering, and there were problems with vandalism and trash.
