The state Department of Health Services is sending more COVID-19 tests to Brown County.
Secretary Andrea Palm says they want to test the families, roommates, and close contacts of workers at the impacted meat plants. She they’ll also be able to sample people around the community, to see what they can learn.
The state provided 2,200 tests last week for workers at the three meat plants.
Palm says they’re also agreeing to handle the contact tracing for about 200 of Brown County’s cases.
