A local business leader thinks today’s protest will help with the push to lift the “safer at home” order.
Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce President John Casper says companies that are open right now are taking steps to protect customers and workers. He believes other businesses can take what’s working best, and reopen, if they want.
It’s not known how many protesters will show up today.
The Office of Administration denied a permit, saying the gathering will be a violation of the social distancing requirements.
