The state’s “safer at home” order has been in place for nearly a month, and a mental health therapist says there are a number of things people could be going through.
Clinician Catherine Langdon of ThedaCare Behavioral Health says a lot of people are experiencing anxiety over money, and the impact of coronavirus on the future.
Langdon says some are angry or frustrated. She says it could be because they feel stuck at home, and they can’t go to work.
She believes grief is another feeling people are experiencing, because they’ve lost their sense of normalcy and connectedness.
Langdon stresses the situation is unprecedented, and she recommends people reach out to talk with someone.
