An event to help support abused and neglected children will be online this year.
CASA of Brown County Executive Director Kristin Jacobs says the needs of those kids can increase because of the pandemic.
The Champions for Children fundraiser runs through Sunday.
Jacobs says last year, volunteers acted as court-appointed advocates for about 240 children. She says 85 of them are now in a safe, permanent home. They were also able to reunite 37 families.
