The Wisconsin National Guard has been helping fight coronavirus in parts of the state.
Major General Paul Knapp says it’s possible they could eventually be deployed in Brown County or northeast Wisconsin. Since last month, members have worked at prisons and isolation centers.
He says about 100 National Guard members are being trained as certified nursing assistants.
More than 1,000 guard members are stationed around the state right now.
