The number of travelers at Appleton International airport is way down.
Airport Director Abe Weber says about a couple of dozen passengers are passing through the airport on a daily basis right now. Typically, they have between 1,500 and 2,000 travelers every day.
Weber says the airlines are cutting some flights, but they’ve told him the moves are temporary, until things bounce back.
While the passenger numbers are down, he says the cargo carriers are moving more products.
