The public health director in Brown County believes statements from the county, and a Denmark company are being taken out of context.
Salm Partners revealed that at least one worker tested positive for coronavirus, shortly after the county announced a potential outbreak at a facility.
Director Ted Shove says in no way shape or form did the county suggest that the facility was in Denmark. He says Salm Partners is taking coronavirus seriously.
Shove says the company and some workers have been receiving threats, including on social media.
He says they’re also investigating other facilities that could be linked to new cases.
