Lamb of God has teamed up with BrewDog to create a signature non-alcoholic beer “Ghost Walker”, named after their 2012 song “Ghost Walking” off of their Resolution album. That album was written when vocalist Randy Blythe started an alcohol-free lifestyle. Blythe says:
“The idea of a collaboration hatched when (Lamb of God guitarist) Willie Adler and I visited a BrewDog bar in Columbus on a tour day off to sample a few pints of their non-alcoholic beer with the brewery team. Countless bands have done beer collaborations, but we are the world’s first non-alcoholic one. In my not-so-humble opinion, this is the best non-alcoholic beer ever made, period.
Blythe added:
“Right now is a strange time for everyone, but we’re stoked to provide a non-alcoholic option for those who want to have a brew while cranking some tunes safely at home. We hope you enjoy our performance and we will see you on the road as soon as possible.”
BrewDog describes the beer as:
“A hop-forward flavor, containing less than 0.5% alcohol. Tropical aromas harmonize with grassy, pine notes, all sitting on a solid malt baseline, proving that non-alcoholic beer can taste just as good.”
A six-pack of “Ghost Walker” runs for $11.99 and is available to purchase starting today at the BrewDog online store.
To honor the release of “Ghost Walker”, Lamb of God shared a video of them playing “Ghost Walking” at their House of Vans Chicago show in February.
Lamb of God’s upcoming self-titled album will be available on May 8th and they will be at the Resch Center on October 31st with Megadeth, Trivium, and In Flames.
