Students in the senior class of 2020 won’t be celebrating their last year of high school, as they had hoped.
Classes are on hold throughout the state, and that’s also impacting proms, sports, and even graduation ceremonies.
Appleton West senior Morgan Cust is putting things into perspective. She says it’s definitely a different year, but people have it a lot worse. She’s hoping and praying it will all get cleared up.
The state hasn’t canceled in-person classes for the rest of the school year, so it’s possible some activities could still happen.
Cust says she already bought a prom dress, and she doesn’t know if she’ll be able to wear it.
