Fond du Lac Police can now hand out tickets to people violating the Governor’s “safer at home” order. The City Council approved a new law that bars public gatherings and use of facilities that are closed to the public.
Police Chief Bill Lamb says repeat offenders will be ticketed. He says officers will not randomly stop people. He says this is more for blatant violators.
The new law carries a fine of $90 for pre-teens, $187 for teenagers and $313 for adults.
