Governor Evers says he’ll continue to follow the science, when it’s time to decide how to start reopening more businesses in Wisconsin.
He thinks it could be a more gradual process. He says as they get closer to the point where they’re comfortable relaxing some of the requirements, they’ll work with the business community.
Evers says the last thing you’d want is to have a resurgence of the virus because places reopened too soon.
About 50 business groups are targeting April 24th. That’s when the state’s “safer at home” order is currently expected to end.
Evers believes it’s not an “either or” situation when it comes to people’s lives. He says they have to use that barometer first.
