Plumbers and heating and cooling workers are part of the state’s list of essential workers.
Bernie Friedenfels is a master plumber and he’s on the board for the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association of Wisconsin. He stresses the safety of everyone involved in a service call is vital.
Friedenfels believes customers need to tell the provider coming to the house, if they’re not feeling well, or have symptoms of coronavirus. He says the workers have to go home to their family afterward.
He says their group is making sure workers understand how to protect themselves, and their clients.
