The head of Prevea Health in Green Bay agrees with the U.S. Surgeon General, that this will be a tough week for the country.
Prevea Health President and CEO Dr. Ashok Rai tells Action 2 News we’re going to start seeing the effect of the cases that have built up. He believes some people will pass away, after spending seven, 10, or even 30 days on ventilators.
The Surgeon General believes the next week will be the next Pearl Harbor or 9-11 moment.
Rai says hospitals in the Green Bay area are meeting to talk about a surge plan, and what to do if the hospitals become overwhelmed like in New York.
He thinks staying home, social distancing, and hand washing should prevent more cases.
