The official music video for Skillet’s song “Save Me” has been released and can be seen below. “Save Me” is off of the bands tenth full length album Victorious, which was released in August.
According to Skillet frontman John Cooper:
“This song is about the darker side of you that you are afraid to show people. ‘If they only knew how messed up I am, would they still love me?’ This song is about getting honest and asking for help, both spiritually and naturally speaking. We loved filming this video and how it turned out as well. The energy we were able to create visually really matches the intensity of the song.”
While self isolation at home, John and Korey Cooper have been performed acoustic versions of “Anchor” and “Whispers in the Dark” on their Instagram and can be seen below.
