Volunteers at Make-A-Wish Wisconsin are concerned they won’t be able to grant every wish, after the pandemic is over.
Regional Director Kris Teofilo says they’ve had to cancel several fundraisers. They also stopped all wishes that involve travel.
Teofilo says many of those critically ill children are in northeast Wisconsin.
She says their biggest fundraiser was scheduled for tonight in Milwaukee. They’re turning it into a virtual event on the state chapter’s website. It starts at 7 p.m. today.
