Doctors in Wisconsin are paying close attention to what’s going on in other places dealing with coronavirus.
Wisconsin Hospital Association Chief Medical Officer Mark Kaufman believes it’s just a matter of time before Wisconsin sees a sharp spike in cases. He says doctors are talking with their peers in hard-hit areas, so they know what they can expect.
Kaufman says some Wisconsin hospitals are reopening closed wards, and converting regular beds to intensive care units, to get ready for an anticipated surge.
