A man in Winneconne is hoping his 50-mile run around his house inspires others to do similar things.
Forty-four-year-old Nate Carroll wanted to raise money. He got the idea from a story about a guy who ran a marathon on his balcony.
Carroll says he offered help the COVID-19 relief fund for the Oshkosh Area United Way. Some of the money is also going to Winneconne police, and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department.
Carroll says he has a small ranch house, and it took 500 to 600 laps to put in the 50 miles. He says it took him about 16 hours to run the full distance on Saturday.
