The state is reporting 1,221 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin.
That’s up 10 percent from yesterday’s total of 1,112.
Dr. Ryan Westergaard of the state Department of Health Services says they’re not keeping track of counties with evidence of “community spread” anymore. He says since they’re only testing the most serious cases, they’re assuming the virus is in every community, or there’s a high risk of it.
Fond du Lac County has 21 confirmed cases, and that’s an increase of one. There are three new cases in Outagamie for a total of nine. Winnebago has two more and 10 overall. Brown has one additional case for a total of seven.
Calumet and Waupaca each still have one.
