The Oshkosh Common Council won’t delay street projects this year.
Some members raised concerns about the ability of people to pay their special assessments, if they’re losing money because of business shutdowns.
But City Manager Mark Rohloff says it would be a big mistake to go a year without re-doing any roads. He believes people are expecting the city to improve the streets. He calls it the community’s No. 1 priority.
The council is delaying a vote on a few non-street projects.
