The manager of the Pillars homeless shelter in the Fox Cities is sharing a story of generosity.
Lauren Moen was trying to buy necessities for people this week, when she was told the store had purchase limits on certain items. She says people in line behind her, and in other checkout lanes, offered to buy them for her.
Moen calls it the most touching moment she’s had in her four years working at the shelter.
