We start with understanding the latest COVID-19 updates from Governor Evers and are joined by WHBY News Director Mike Kemmeter to break it all down.
Focus on Veterans — How can we support our veterans during the COVID-19 pandemic? Bill Trombley, an academic resource advisor at Fox Valley Tech’s Veterans Resource Center joins us to talk about how to stay connected to local resources. We’re also reminded to check in on our friends and family members who are vets.
The Oshkosh Area United Way will host a Community Cares Drive on Tuesday, March 24 from 12-4 p.m. This drive is an effort to collect personal protective equipment (PPE) and other medical supplies at the Oshkosh Convention Center to assist in replenishing the resources for local healthcare workers and first responders.
Donations can be dropped off in the Convention Center parking lot just off Ceape Avenue between 12 pm and 4 pm. A drive-thru station will be set up in the parking lot to receive donations and regulate direct contact with individuals. Proper precautionary social distancing measures will be in place.
