The City of Green Bay is threatening to sue Governor Evers, if he goes through with in-person voting for the April 7th election.
Mayor Eric Genrich says there’s no way to run a fair and safe election at this time. He believes it would disenfranchise voters, and expose potentially expose people to a “clear and present danger.”
In a conference call of local mayors, Appleton’s Tim Hanna and Neenah’s Dean Kaufert stopped short of threatening legal action. But they are joining Genrich in calling for an all mail-in election, even if that pushes the voting beyond the April 7th date.
