Unemployment claims in the state skyrocketed this week.
About 1,500 people filed for benefits on Sunday, 4,300 on Monday, 8,500 on Tuesday, and 15,000 on Wednesday. Governor Evers ordered all bars and restaurants to close on Tuesday.
Last week, the state was getting an average of 700 claims a day.
