To our Razor audience,
As information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are taking some measures to help prevent its spread. Our team is following cleanliness and protection guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and also doing our part to limit exposure by minimizing in-building guests, work travel, and attendance at gatherings of 20 or more people.
In addition, due to our shared studio workspace (and shared microphones), we are asking our on-air staff to work from home until further notice. Unfortunately, this will disrupt some of our normal programming.
We feel it’s important to be here when you need us as the soundtrack to your day. So, we will keep playing music, as usual, and will continue to air the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show, 4-9am, and HardDriveXL, 7pm-Midnight.
We also know how vital it is to stay in touch with our Northeast Wisconsin community, and we will be doing so via RazorWisconsin.com, the Razor mobile app, and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @RazorWisconsin.
That is where Kaytie, Cutter, Pete, and Reggie will continue to bring you the music news, weird stories, and rock randomness you expect from the Razor on a daily basis.
We have also cancelled our in-person-only Free Beer and Hot Wings pre-sale this Thursday at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Tickets will still go on-sale to the general public Friday, March 20, at 10am via RazorWisconsin.com
Since we will not be in-studio, there will be no one to answer the studio phone line. If you need to communicate with us, please do so online through the platforms mentioned above or via text to 70236 (with RAZOR as the first word of your message to make sure we get it). For questions about prize redemption, contests or promotions, please email WRG Promotions|Marketing Director, Roxanne Steele (rsteele@wcinet.com) or call 920.734.9226
We will also do our best to keep you updated with event cancellations or postponements along with further updates from medical experts, the World Health Organization, the CDC and the Centers for Public Health, and state and local health agencies.
We will continue to assess the situation to determine when it is safe and appropriate to return to our regularly scheduled programming.
Thank you. Help keep yourself and each other healthy.
