Boaters will have an easier time paying for launch permits in Oshkosh this summer.
The city is setting up automated machines at the launches in Fugleberg and Rainbow parks, along with the launch at the end of 24th Avenue.
Assistant City Manager John Fitzpatrick says they’re replacing the cash collection boxes.
The city will spend $40,000 to put in the new machines. There are plans to add them at more Oshkosh boat launches later this year.
