Some of the major events that take place around the world are being canceled or postponed to counteract the spread of Covid-19 or the Coronavirus. It’s pretty crazy to think that this happening, but even major rock tours have been cancelled.
SXSW: Series of festivals and conferences. Austin, Texas. Originally scheduled for March 13-22. The first time it’s been cancelled in it’s over 3 decades of existence
Pearl Jam 2020 Tour: 17 concerts across Canada and the U.S. Originally scheduled for March and April. According to reports Pearl Jam are trying to re-schedule.
Coachella: Music festival. Indio, CA featuring headliners Rage Against The Machine who will be on the rescheduled dates. Originally scheduled for April 10-12 and April 17-19; rescheduled for October 9-11 and October 16-18.
Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Scheduled for March 14. More than 400,000 gather at the Chicago river.
E3: Video game expo. Los Angeles. Originally scheduled for June 9-11.
