It looks like Halestorm are getting closer and closer to releasing a new album. Late last night, Halestorm guitarist Joe Hottinger posted a picture of Lzzy Hale playing the guitar on his Instagram saying:
“The writing rocket has really lifted off. The music is feeling fresh and weird. I love it. I can’t wait for everyone to hear some of these gems.”
In August, Lzzy Hale said they have almost “two albums worth” of material for their next album.
On Monday, the band announced a new acoustic record called Vicious Stripped will be available on Friday, March 6th. That album will include stripped back versions of the bands favorite songs from Vicious. The band said:
“We’ve peeled back the layers so the heart of the song is displayed for the world to see!”
This past weekend, Lzzy Hale became the first person ever to perform the Gibson Guitar Riff as part of a new tradition for the brand new Nashville Soccer Club.
Halestorm will hit the road this spring, with a stop at Rock USA on Thursday, July 16th.
