The new Brown County Expo Center will be known as Resch Expo.
The Resch family is buying the naming rights for at least 20 years, and possibly 40.
Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach says it’s worth $6 million for the first 20 years, and it can be extended to 40 years, for another $4 million. He says $8 million would help cover construction costs, and they could use the remaining $2 million to pay down debt.
The expo center will be on the site of the former Brown County Arena and Shopko Hall.
The Resch family sold its shares in KI to the company’s employee ownership program almost two years ago.
