Corrosion of Conformity drummer Reed Mullin has passed away at the age of 53. The band confirmed the news in a Twitter post earlier this evening.

The cause of death has not yet been revealed. Reed was 53.
Reed was one of the founding members of Corrosion of Conformity along with Mike Dean and Woody Weatherman.
Several of Reed’s friends took to social media this evening including lead vocalist and bassist of Repulsion, Scott Carlson.
