A Democratic state lawmaker is trying to make it easier to get vaccines.
Assembly Minority Leader Gordon Hintz of Oshkosh is working on three bills. One would give 16-year-olds the chance to decide whether to get vaccinated, regardless of their parents’ feelings.
Another would have the state buy all of the required vaccines. That’s the setup in 15 states around the country.
The third proposal would let dentists give people vaccinations, if they’re properly trained.
