Since it’s officially 2020 and we’re now adding songs from 2005 into the mix for the Old School Lunch, I thought it would be perfect to kick off the first full week of the year with the top 10 songs from 2005.
The number 1 rock song in the country in 2005 was “Save Me” from Shinedown. The song was released as the first single from second studio album, Us and Them. It also served as the theme song for WWE’s No Mercy 2005 pay-per-view event, and is their second most commercially successful single to date remaining at the number 1 spot on the Rock Charts for a total of 12 weeks!
