The EAA will now pay twice as much to use Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.
Winnebago County re-negotiated the decades-old lease, and the annual rent is going from $113,000 to $230,000.
County Supervisor Larry Lautenschlager of Oshkosh is glad the extra money will be used to redevelop some hangars on the airport property.
The deal includes a retroactive payment by EAA this year, to bring the 2019 rent total to $230,000.
