Oshkosh School officials say students and staff followed their threat situation plans perfectly yesterday at Oshkosh West High School.
Some of those inside the building were able to escape immediately while others were kept in classrooms and gyms for several hours after the shooting of a student by a police liaison officer.
Superintendent Vicki Cartwright says those who don’t face a direct threat should try to escape.
Yesterday’s incident took place around 9:15 a.m.
The last students were allowed to leave the high school around 11:30 a.m.
