Looks like Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil, bassist Ben Shepherd and drummer Matt Cameron are at least doing some sort of new music together. Americana singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile along with her bandmates have gotten together with the remaining members of Soundgarden to record two songs at the famed London Bridge Studios.

We have no idea what these songs are for, but keep in mind it was only a few weeks ago that Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless was sharing photos of her recording with the band in the same studios.
