Police are searching for the suspects in a series of robberies in the area around the UW-Oshkosh campus.
Oshkosh Officer Kate Mann says two victims were targeted, using the Tinder dating app. She says someone asked the victims to meet at a specific spot, and when they got there, they were attacked. One of them got away without anything being stolen.
Police say there were two more random robberies or attempted robberies in a neighborhood when victims were walking alone. One of them was robbed, and the other got away.
Mann says several black teenagers were involved in all four attacks, but they’re not sure if the Tinder incidents are connected to the random ones. The robberies have happened over the past few weeks.
