A partnership in Oshkosh is helping some manufacturers add more skilled workers.
The Fox Valley Workforce Development Board teamed with Fox Valley Technical College to train people on how to use a press brake on steel sheeting.
The board’s Bobbi Miller says three Oshkosh companies were also involved — Wald Wire and Manufacturing, Muza Metal Products, and SMC Metal Fabricators.
The state Department of Workforce Development provided a grant.
The final six students graduated yesterday.
Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes was in Oshkosh for the ceremony.
