The number 1 rock song in the country this week in 2004 belongs to Linkin’ Park with “Breaking the Habit.”
The track was released as the 5th and final single from their second studio album Meteora. The song became the 5th consecutive single from that album to reach number 1 on the Billboard Rock Chart, a feat unmatched by any artist in the history of the chart. “Breaking the Habit” also hit number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Gold.
