After making us cry last week with the short film The Mastodon in the Room and making us all cry a little (OK, it was a lot), they are now giving us new music! For the first time as a 5-piece band, and seemingly with a new lease on life, Mastodon are back. The new album is called Marrow Deep, with an August 28th release date and a new song.
With the new album comes a new song; “Snakes for Dinner” is the second single to be released since the passing of original guitarist Brett Hinds. This song also features Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme.
Meanwhile the song “Your Ghost Again” came out at the beginning of June.
The Poisonous Weapons Tour starts in September with support from Deafheaven and Alcest.
