Zacky Vengeance has released a solo single under his real name, Zachary Baker. He began teasing the release via Instagram a few weeks ago and today dropped a single called “Dark Horse.”
If you’re expecting something that sounds like Avenged Sevenfold, think again. The track leans heavily into a Western-inspired sound, featuring intricate finger-picking and a distinctly old-school country feel. There’s no word yet on whether Baker plans to expand the project into a full album.
Avenged Sevenfold is set to launch a co-headlining tour with Good Charlotte in the summer, which makes a stop at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Chicago on July 30th.
